Kashmiri Couple

          Let me show you some Quilling dolls of different states of India. Lets begin with Northern India. This is  a cute Kashmiri couple doll dressed in their traditional wear, 

Let me show in detail:

For the face you can refer to my earlier posts.

Boy :

Body ( Upper part ):

• Make an open coil using 10 quilling strips ( 5 mm ) .
• Total you need to make 4 such coils.
• One coil , make a small dome shape as shown.
• Stick all the coils.

Body ( Lower Part ):

• Make an open coil using 20 quilling strips( 5 mm ) . 
• Make  a cone shape as shown.
• Stick the upper and lower body parts

Legs:

• Make a tight coil using 8 quilling strips ( 5 mm ). 
• Make a cone shape.

The cap is made by using 3 yellow + 3 green + 2 yellow strips. Make a tight coil. Use 5 mm strips. Make a cone shape.

Attach all the body parts. Draw the facial features to complete your doll.

Girl :

All the coils are made using 5 mm quilling strips.

Make a cap and some decorations. I have made a flower basket which looks more traditional.

Attach all the body parts and draw the facial features.
