Goddess Annapurneshwari ( Quilled - Fabric idol )

 Dear Friends,

Goddess Annapurneshwari

   I am so excited to share my latest art work . This Goddess Annapurneshwari idol is very close to my heart . The main reason is,  I made this beautiful idol along with my daughter . And this divine idol is a fusion of Quilling and Fabric. 

   This started with a ladle which my daughter had kept for a long time.  We just decided instantly why not make Goddess Annapurneshwari . First we thought to make it in quilling , later we planned to drape the saree in Fabric cloth. Tried  a new experiment in art form . The result was just mesmerizing .

• The face , head , hands , legs , body , crown and pot are made using Quilling art. For details Click here
• Magnificent hairs were made from black wool . 

• Fabric saree draping  using blue silk blouse piece with gold border stitched. Gold Buttas used for decoration. 

• Jewellery including jhumkas , nose ring , necklace , finger ring , maang tika , bangles and waist chain are beautifully crafted using kundans, ball chain , stone line , stones etc. 

And finally the facial features give  a divine look for the Goddess.
