Here is another quilling creation for the auspicious occasion of Krishna Janmashtami. To do this , I took a picture of Sri Krishna from a calendar and quilled on it.
Let me show you some step by step pictures of this.
Step 1
1. Dhoti ;
- I have used yellow colour quilling Strips ( 3 mm ) for this.
- Make comb shapes to fill the entire dhoti shape.
- On the top , I have used red colour comb shapes.
- Decorate with stone line and ball chain.
Step 2
Upper Part :
- First you need to give an outline for the body using grey colour quilling strips . Place it in a vertical position.
- Make a loose coil according to the shape and stick on that.
- The blue part is done using comb shapes.
- The border is completed using colourfull lace.
- On the hands you can stick a stone line for decoration.
Step 3
Face and hands :
- Make an outline for the hands and fingers. Make marquise and tear drop shapes using 1/4 th strip .
- The hairs are done using black colour comb shapes.
- Place a stone line and kundan for the crown.
- Make a tight coil using grey colour quilling strip . Place it on the face part. Draw the facial parts on an ohp sheet and stick it on the coil.
- For the jewellery , you can stick some kundans and stone lines.
My Quilling Krishna is complete. I hope you liked it.
