The next in the Rashi Devata series is Vrishabha Rashi. Vrishabha is also an astrological sign in Indian horoscope systems, corresponding to Taurus.
This Devata has a horse beside him. The details of making the Devata is explained in my earlier post.
I will post the video shortly.
Let me explain the basic parts of making the horse.
- Make an open coil using 8 quilling strips ( 10 mm ). I have used white colour strips. Make 3 such coils and attach them.
- Make a cone shape using 10 quilling strips ( 5 mm ). Make another cone shape using 7 quilling strips and the third cone using 4 quilling strips. Attach them as shown in the picture.
- The leg is made using two cones . One using 2 strips and another using 1 strip.
- The tail is a bend marquise shape using 3 quilling strips.
Attach all the parts to complete the horse.
